Ridgeway Apiaries

We are a small beekeeping business based in North Wiltshire. Our hives are at the foot of the Lambourne/Bishopstone Downs where the Ridgeway runs - an ancient pathway over rolling and open downland to the south-west of the River Thames that has been used by travellers since prehistoric times. Our bees forage on the Ridgeway and in the local area, collecting honey from fields and wildflowers.

We produce an expanding selection of honey and bee products. Our honey comes in three styles:

	Soft Set Honey - a soft almost creamy texture in the mouth, ideal for spreading on toast.
	Runny Honey - a clear, versatile honey. Delicious drizzled on porridge or muesli
	Comb Honey - the most natural, enjoyable way to eat honey, straight from the hive.

Our honey is of these varieties:

• Spring - a mild honey, collected from fields, that sets well
• Summer - a fuller flavoured honey than the spring honey that comes in from a wide variety of flowers from around the Ridgeway, including clover
• Ivy Honey, a full flavoured honey that sets hard, this honey is not always available

Our honey is priced as follows:

• Comb Honey £3 per 227g (half pound) tub
